Walter E. Soderstrom founds the National Association of Photo-Lithographers |
1935 |
NAPL Board votes to incorporate as nonprofit organization.

| 1937 | First NAPL Photo Lithographers Manual is published. |
| 1934 | President Roosevelt signs National Recovery Legislation; NAPL designated litho industry enforcement authority.
|
| 1936 | Dues structure formalized. Annual dues are established at $35, with added assessment based on press equipment utilization. |
| 1938 | The Photo-Lithographer magazine sold to The Photo-Lithographer, Inc. for initial payment of $10,000. Soderstrom remains editor for one-year transition. |
